Moscato Granita at home, my recipe

March 28, 2017

We had a few record breaking heat waves this summer just gone and I've created the perfect frozen summer cocktail that you can make at home. It looks fantastic and tastes a treat, the ideal way to show off to your friends!

Here's what you'll need:

A good blender, I use a Nutri Ninja, I love it because I have 4 different jugs so I can make perfect individual portions or enough for the party!

A nice bottle of Moscato (we're making ours with Two Rivers 'Belle') frozen into a 2 ice trays*, you'll need to do this the day before as alcohol doesn't like to freeze. This will make plenty of cocktails :)

One ice cube tray filled with good Cranberry Juice.

*Our ice cube tray has individual cube size around 45ml.

4 ice cubes of Moscato

2 ice cubes of Cranberry Juice

3 ice cubes

20ml Raspberry Vodka (you can substitute with regular vodka)

5ml fresh squeezed Lime Juice

5 drops of Grenadine (you can substitute with Raspberry Cordial)

Keep reading for method...

Add all the ingredients into your blender, this will work best if you have an appropriate amount for the size blender you are using, eg. it will be very difficult to wiz up one portion in a 2L jug.

Blend until beautiful and smooth, I sometimes stop part way through and add a dash of Cranberry Juice to help it wiz up nicely.

Serve in a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy ;)
